If you are looking for your first DSLR, look no more beyond. Its a little beast that packs everything. Also if u are looking to upgrade with a tight budget this is for u.I was confused between 200d and 800d. 800d has 45 all cross type autofocus points as compared to 9 (with single cross type). Well that looks like a big difference and is a big difference if you are going for high speed action like sports or vigorously moving wild life photos. And thats it, no other significant difference. If u are a family, landscape, macro, type of photographer, 9 points is more than enough as this camera is superfast and efficient in focussing with those 9 points. Now if u want wild life also (like me), this camera can do well with its 9 point. But if you require tracking the fast moving subject, switch to live view and see the magic. This camera has dual pixel cmos autofocus which is lightning fast and smooth in focussing and tracking in live view.As of now 800d with single kit lens and 200d with 2 kit lens are priced almost same. But the big difference for me was the 55-250mm is stm kit lens that comes with 200d. Its the newer version stm lens (not the older is ii) that will cost approx 20000 rs to buy it seperately.Hands on impressions:CONS1. 9 point autofocus2. Mini usb port not micro3. No USB charging (cant use powerbank). You have to take out battery and charge with charger provided.PROS1. Light weight and compact2. Crisp images with 24mega pixels3. Guided menu4. Good battery life5. Fast and smooth focussing6. Variangle lcd with touch to focus (works awesome)7.wifi image transfer and remote live view shooting with smartphone (you can use touch to focus and change camera settings with smatphone)8. Many shooting modes including creative modes9. Full hd 60fps video10. Timelapse mode
See, i dont want to confuse you with camera's specs but honestly speaking this camera is a beast... I purchased this camera at 45k and i got camera body, 18-55mm lens, 16gb Toshiba SD card and Camera case... I purchased it from the seller named price..perfect and they really delivered me a genuine product. This camera is very user-friendly with amazing image quality. If u wanna buy a camera for entry level photography, u should go for this one... Very light and portable... Thank you Amazon
Before this, I owned a 1300D which was my 1st DSLR and I had a great experience with that camera and highly recommend it. Unfortunately, it met with an accident and now is not in working condition anymore. If you have a budget of 44k, this is the camera you want to get. Once you have a taste of Dual Pixel CMOS AutoFocus, nothing can come close to it. I was considering the 77D as well but that camera was out of my budget so I settled for the 200D, and I don't regret my decision because I can get other useful accessories and a new lens with the money saved.Pros:-Dual Pixel CMOS AutoFocus-Super Compact-Articulating Touch Screen-DIGIC 7 image processor-WiFi NFC Bluetooth-Excellent image quality and video qualityCons:-After using the 1300D, the 200D feels noticeably smaller in the hand and perhaps less substantial to hold.-In-built flash is smaller than the more regular-sized DSLRsConclusion:If you are thinking of buying your 1st DSLR and prefer Canon and have a budget of 25k, go for the 1300D as I did. However, if you have 45k as your budget, the 200D is definitely worth it.
