Either one can shave the patch or wear it inwards.Over the time , all the sensors started working fine. App with the premium subscription elevated the experience to new level.

The heart rate readings are not as accurate once you start sweating during a workout.Other than that it's a decent device. I wish we had more control over the data monitoring overall and the data was available for our own analysis.

Keep reading for an unbiased review and tips/tricks to ensure all the functions in the watch are working smoothly.1) Large Curved Display in this price category - 1.69 inch2) Battery with heavy usage and frequently waking up the screen, alexa, alarms, notifications is about 3 days. On standby while just checking the time occassionally is about 8 days. Pretty good. Full charging time is about 1.5 hours. Decent quality magnetic charging cable provided. Use your own low power adapter, power bank or laptop.3) Has all the necessary health / workout tracking options.. Spo2( Oxymeter), Heart Rate monitor..Accuracy is 95-98%. Sleep tracking is pretty accurate too. Paedometer is accurate most of the times, but sometimes few hundred steps are added randomly without any activity. This happens randomly once in 3-4 days. Stress Monitor is also there but not sure how it's calculated. The sensors aren not fake most probably because if the watch isn't in contact with your skin it will display a warning message and won't display data.4) Lift to wake up gesture works but with a 1 second delay.. which is manageable. It has Tap to wake functionality too.5) Works with most popular notifications: Whatsapp, SMS, Facebook, Instagram etc. Can read the entire SMS on watch and most of the other messages unless it's very long.6) Calls can't be picked up or silenced.. You can only see the caller id and reject the call.7) BT Music Control, Weather update and Alexa are other usable smart features.8) 50 different watch face are available on the Boat wave app. Some are really good.. You can also have customised wallpapers as watch faces . See the posted pictures.9) The Boat Wave app is neatly organized and syncs health data without any issues instantly. The app also has assisted GPS functionality which can track your running activities on a map, in case you need that data.10) The User Interface is smooth.. Please note that it's not laggy. The animations and transitions are a little slow but overall easy to use. Touch screen response is excellent and feels nice.11) Overall construction is sturdy and feels nice and comfortable to wear it. It has water resistance of 5 ATM.. Can take it for a short duration swim in a pool, under the shower or rain without any worries. Watch uppper body is brushed aluminium and under body is good quality plastic. Tested on both.TIPs AND TRICKs ________________________________________1) Boat wave app needs to run in the background all the time for your call notifications, message notifications, Alexa functionality and Weather updates. If you accidentally clear all the cache and background apps from the phone, the watch will disconnect from the phone after some time when idle ( no active inputs probably after 10-15 mins). Keep the boat wave app running in the background. Most people complaining that the watch frequently disconnected might unintentionally be clearing all the background apps. My watch was continuously connected for 4 straight days without me having to reconnect as long as the boat wave app was running in the background.2) Alexa on this watch can do a lot of things..It can set your alarms, start the stopwatch, show weather, control Alexa based devices like Echo, wireless lights and AC, work as a simple calculator, translate simple/ short English sentences to German, Spanish, Italian, French and Portugese, get you common stock quotes from internet, can you snippets of general information from the internet in case you don't know something. Yes, Alexa on your watch getting you the information is a little slow, takes about 30 -40 seconds to process your request but it's convenient and better that taking out the phone from your pocket which might take similar amount of time or longer. In my personal experience, Alexa works a little faster on Android as compared to iphone ( maybe 2-3 second difference). Also if there is break while speaking or if there is a long sentence, then it's difficult for Alexa to understand.. Check my video.. Keep it short and you should get the results accurately3) For Alexa to work properly: After connecting the Boat Wave app with an Amazon account, download the Alexa app and check your Xtend watch is visible under Devices option.4) To pickup and make calls handsfree without using the phone, just use a Bluetooth headset with voice assistant function. It will work as a charm. The speaker function on most smart watches is useless as it's not convenient for calls while traveling or in a crowded place due to low volume and obviously you don't want everyone to hear your private conversation.. With voice assistant feature on your BT headset you can make a call or play music without having to touch your phone.Few other functions which could have been provided and is missing. Actually available in many similarly priced devices :1) Torch - Makes the display bright white.. Comes handy in darkness.2) Remote shutter button for camera.3) Call silencing option could have been added.

★★★★☆ I have used the watch for 1 week. I find that unless the strap is tight around the wrist, the readings for steps walked and sleep time are too high. The battery life is less than advertised, but I am told it can be extended by reducing screen brightness and turning off some features like heart rate monitoring etc. I'll give it a try. Otherwise its not a bad watch and for the price I guess its okay.

★★★★☆ I had the fitbit alta before this in 2016. Slacked on my fitness journey in 2017/18, decided to take charge this year. I bought this tracker in Jan 2019 and waited for a month to review and here are my observations:1. I faced step count issues with this. It refused to track my steps and I had to try many methods mentioned on the fitbit forum all of which were stop-gap arrangements. The good part however -the Fitbit support on Twitter is exceptional. They are quick to respond and relentlessly follow to ensure you are satisfied with your product. They remotely rectified the issue with a few details I shared about my Fitbit account and ever since, this tracker is the best decision I made. I STRONGLY recommend anyone who's facing issues with their fitbit to connect with Fitbit customer care on Twitter.2. I am new to running so it doesn't bother me that I need assisted GPS to help track my runs - if you are not a runner, this shouldn't bother you.3. Love that it is compatible with many of my apps for notifications4. Love how it's able to customise and track multiple forms of exercises5. The not so good: I am starting to sense a rash creeping up, but I also think this could be because my band is too tight or some moisture (water or sweat) was caught in and was unable to dry up in time. I never faced this with the Alta but I was extremely careful about keeping my Alta dry6. Yet to try this for a swim so no inputs there.7. Tip: Use this to record your exercise and water intake, Use My Fitness Pal for your food intake - it has a wide variety of food options across the globe - many Indian brands and items included, Use Record (Under Armour) to track other activities like kayaking for example - Record and MFP sync to your Fitbit and I find the combination of these 3 most efficient to track my fitness journey.

★★★☆☆ Bought Fitbit Charge 3 a month ago and the delivery was on time for my Steptathlon Challange at office. It tracks a lot of stats and the most I liked was the Heart Rate and Sleep Quality. The Fitbit app provides a lot of insight based on the data gathered by tracker and they also have good articles on several aspects of tracking stats. Overall a very good tracker to have. Was exposed to rain couple of times and no issues at all.Here comes the issues:Exactly after a month of use, suddenly the battery got discharged quickly. It was 65% when I went to sleep and by next day morning the tracker was off. This was surprising for a premium product like this. So I did some trouble shooting steps mentioned on community portal but no use. Then I contacted Amazon customer service who redirected me to company customer support as the device was covered under warranty.The interaction with company's customer service was very pleasant (the call goes to Philippines but it is toll free) and they gave me a detailed trouble shooting steps to see if it can be fixed else the replacement can be processed. After trying the the troubleshooting steps the device though started working (it was tracking all the stats) but the display didn't come-up at all. Same day I reach out to customer support and they were prompt in initiating the replacement.Now my replacement order is placed by them (they only send the new tracker not the charger/strap etc.) and they have suggested that the old defective device should be trashed at any e-waste processing unit. You don't have to send the old device back.After a day, I was still trying to fix the issue, and did a recharge for 1 hour by connecting to computer's USB power port. Once the device was charged, I unpaired the device from the app and paired it again. Then the display came back and the tracking also working but it is still in observation and I would rather take the new device as it may go bad again.Now waiting for my new tracker and yes I did ask few questions about the old tracker, like will it deactivated, what happens to the data already stored in device, can this be reused by someone if given to e-waste. So awaiting answers.After observation:Yes, the battery quick drain issue still exists and it is not even lasting for a day.

★★★★☆ Bought the Fitbit Charge 3 2 days ago as a replacement for a really old charge HR. It's a very good looking device for one and I have done the whole counting steps while walking and comparing at the same time and it appears to accurate so far. The sleep tracking is the bomb! (the chart it develops in the app looks beautiful and is easy to read)I am still working on figuring out how the app detects workouts (since it hasn't detected any of my Nike Training Club workouts, which might be due to the fact that they are shorter than 15 mins or low intensity). There are supposedly settings to record those in as well.For my use it has worked as a proper replacement for my previous device. I have had no pairing issues which a lot of people mentioned (yet).Also, just a pattern I noticed with my previous Charge HR, when you dont sync the device with the phone for a while, it is more likely to take time or be problematic while syncing. If you sync regularly, even the old devices do just fine

Go and check them.I've been using the Gadget for more than a month & what i'll be writing is about the battery life...• The company claims it can withstand 20 days, but it is not impossible. With all the features turned off, and only using it as a digital watch, I think it can survive for 15-20 days. (Lasted for 23 days max for me)• With all the features turned on, 24 hr heart rate sensing, some behavior tagging (you'll find it in Mi fit app), Sleep Monitoring turned on, and all those Notification, Call, Alarm etc; i mean EVERYTHING TURNED ON which drains Your Battery; the Mi Band 3 ran a disappointing 1 day earlier. But after a recent update Mi have increased the frequency of HR detection to 10 min interval which increases the Battery life to 3 days as for me.• With moderate use, the Heart Rate Sensor turned off, but Sleep Monitoring turned on (which measures your Heart Rate while sleeping), and my 1 hr Workout (during Exercise Mode the band measures your Heart Rate & Calories Burnt Continuously); the Mi Band 3 served me for about 2.5-3 days earlier. (Cannot comment on this after this update)• With just a casual use, with simliar features from the previous point and the Sleep Monitoring Turned Off; it may go around 10-15 days.P.S. -° On an average I wear the Mi Band 3 for about 20+ hrs a day with 10+ hrs Connected with my Smartphone to the Mi Fit App, via Bluetooth.° The Pedometer (3-Axis Accelerometer in this case) which counts your Steps & Distance traversed, & the Sleep Assistant (which measures the hours you slept) can't be turned off, they run 24×7.° I use the Night Mode from Evening.Conclusion :•If You are a Casual User, The Mi Band 3 will serve You 15+ days in a Single Charge.• I'm a Moderate User, and it goes about a week for me.• For Heavy Users, the Mi Band 3 might run max 2-3 days.These are completely my Personal Opinion, based on my Personal Experience. ★★★★☆ First of all this is a must upgrade for Mi2 band users. I used Mi2 for six months and was quite happy with that too. But this one seems like a two version improvement over Mi2. It is definitely a great band for first time buyers as well. I'll list the details here as well as compare with Mi2.1. Looks are better - Mi2 seemed like a generic product but this one looks pretty good. The front glass is pretty well designed and is very smooth which makes it look a bit high end. Even the toggle button looks pretty good. Toggle is made like a smooth depression instead of a rugged one in Mi2. This complements the glass look very well.2. Glass tensile strength is better - Not to say Mi2 was bad but is even better. If you usually bang the band, not badly though, on walls or doors Mi3 is much better to endure all that. Mi2 started giving up after 1-2 months and i could see a few scratches. This one is holding up pretty well.3. Much better battery life - This one easily lasts for a couple of weeks. I would recommend not going by 20 day number that the company is claiming. However, actually you need the band to survive at least a week so that you can easily charge it on the weekend and this one is pretty good at that. Mi2 used to last 4-5 days with heavy use.4. Great display - Clearly one thing is a big positive. The display is much better with the OLED screen. Sharp and crystal clear. Shows up more information in the same amount of space as well. This is another significant improvement over Mi2 and most other bands in the similar range.5. Expansive set of notifications - Mi has added more set of notifications in this (whatsapp too) and that clearly helps. What is another great feature is that you can reject calls from the band. This was an irritating factor in Mi2 band. If you are on a treadmill and the phone is ringing, you would have to bear the entire ringing on Mi2. This is a small but a very meaningful functionality that you will appreciate over time.6. Better algorithms - Frankly, I was a bit upset with my Mi2. I felt the step count accuracy was somewhat +/- 40% which is not good at all. This one is much more accurate than Mi2 and at the same time it is quite comparable to some high end brands which run at 10% error rate. These new algos in this watch are great. Wish Mi pushes these algos as software update to Mi2 as well unless this requires a different set of hardware sensors.7. Heart rate monitor is more accurate - I compared it with a friend's apple watch and WOAH, the heart rate was similar. So that's another great improvement in the band. Better sleep monitor as well.8. Other improved features - much better water resistance. I take it for swim now. Better design and strong strap as well.VerdictAt this price, frankly you can't get a good branded, good looking and more accurate band. And something which syncs well with a good app that Mi has. If you are newbie then start with this one. If you are a Mi2 user, you need to upgrade for sure.

★★★★☆ Honest ReviewHi Guys, So its been 1 week since i have started using this band..First of all Let me give you a small summary..I have read in many reviews that there is some issue with Health App..But Personally i havent felt any issue in downloading the health app and within 30 Minutes i was able to update the firmware on Band..Also SPO2 Feature is there..Advantages:1) There are lots of Workout modes which gives detailed infirmation of your workouts.2) Sleep Tracking: Sleep tracking was one if the reason i bought this band and trust me its best in Sleep tracking and gives good bifurcation of Light, deep and REM sleep along with the ways to improbe ur sleep.3) SPO2: No other band has SPO2 feature at this price..Though dont know abt the accuracy bt its there.4) Heart Rate Monitoring: Its continuous Heart rate monitoring is very well coordinated with the Health App.5) Watchface: Cool Watch faces available.6) Charging: Charging is very easy as you can connect the band to ur laptop too as it has USB charge style.7) Music Control: Surprisingly it can also cobtrol youtube videos.Disadvantages:1) Battery Life: Battery lasts around 4 and Half day if u r using all the features which i quite low.2) Inaccurate Nap Tracking: Even though you are not sleeping or taking a nap but lying down on a bed. Even it affects the looks of the band. These devices are not meant to last forever, so enjoy till it lasts.Another issue is due to the 2.5D screen. Already small screen with 2.5D curves, a guard won't be able to cover full area and there will be gaps on the edge, which will look ugly. A similar issue is faced with 2.5D edges in mobiles.Also, 2.5D is responsible for accidental peel off of the protector as bands swipe across a lot of things (esp non-scratching ones like clothing, persons, pillow during sleep, etc). With the likes of MI, fitness tracking has gone to another level. Too much for too little. MI made it reach the hands of almost everyone looking for fitness tracking.There are a few minor issues here & there, wrt accuracy & software glitches which can be fixed in fw updates. UPGRADING?→ I already own MI band 3 & Honor Band 4. Comparing MB3 & MB4, MI band 4 is a definitive upgrade with a good set of new features. (comparison above)→ If having Honor Band 4, the upgrade won't matter much. Only upgrade if you want to have some extras, change of experience & different ecosystem. (comparison above) NEW TO WEARABLES?→ If your budget is low & can ignore things quality & features discussed above, go for any cheap quality band.→ If you can extend your budget, then definitely go for MI Band 4 without any second thought. ★★☆☆☆ Wir haben dieses Band schon bei 3 Personen in der Familie im Einsatz und sind sehr zufrieden, auch mit der langen Akkulaufzeit.Nun wollten wir das gleiche Band nochmal kaufen und geben jetzt nach der zweiten Bestellung auf.Zweimal kam ein vollkommen entladenes Gerät an, das erst nach mehreren Ladeversuchen starten wollte und dann nur eine Akkukapazität von 95 % erreichte. Der Akku hielt dann auch nur einen Tag. Anscheinend haben die Akkus durch lange Lagerzeiten mit Tiefenentladung sehr gelitten und sind dadurch nahezu defekt.Haben uns jetzt für ein anderes neueres Produkt entschieden.
