  ★★★★☆ I ordered the MI smart band 6 mainly for swimming 🏊‍♀️ Unfortunately I wasn't able to test it because of the battery issue. When I first received the package it was in good condition, there was no external damage. But I had a hard time figuring out how to connect it to my phone, this was only because the battery was completely dead when I received it.I then charged it to 99%, around 4:30 pm(check the pics for proof). The battery began to drain very fast(signs of an old weak battery), by 5:21 it was 83%, I immediately thought of requesting a replacement, but then I had to wait till the next morning as the seller didn't have any stock.The next morning at 5 am, which is 12 hrs 30 mins later, the battery was down to 39%, by 8:43 it became 28%.The battery took only around 16 hrs to get from 99% to 28%, In the first 50 mins it came down to 83% rapidly.I called the customer support as there was no replacement available, they were only able to initiate a return process, which will take 3 days, after that the refund will be credited to Amazon pay in 1 or 2 days(even though I paid with cash) so it's a 5-6 days wait till I order another replacement afteri get the, from a different seller. If I received the cash it would faster from a local store.Once I get A new one, I will be able to review the performance after I use it for a month. I HAVE GIVEN 4 STARS BECAUSE I RECIVED A DEFECTIVE PIECE(Dead Battery), BUT ONCE I GET A NEW ONE I WILL RATE AGAIN. If it's good I will even give 5 stars, or it can become 2-3.ProsOverall performance of the band is actually very good, accuracy for walking is also good, the app has a lot of features, you can even get a customized wall paper with your pictures on the watch.The screen is slightly bigger than band 4, so you can read all notification from your phone.You can even customize the vibration for each option Individually.The build quality is decent and charging port is magnetic for easy connection.You can find the phone in case you are searching it around the house. You can also find the band from the app. But it doesn't have an alarm like the phone, only vibration.There are various sports modes included.You can control phone music volume, pause, play, next & previous tracks.ConsThe strap could be a little longer for people with large wrists.They have the option to reject call, could have included accept calls too.If you don't have location turned on in your phone, you can't connect initially and also every time you re connect, and sync.The first setup can be made with the Qr code inserted of searching, it took me time to try every option, finally got it with the QR code.OverallIt's a good product and it's value for money when compared to other brands, I would suggest you get the band 5 or 6 because the older versions have a smaller screen.

  ★★★★☆ Updating the review. Went to the Mi store and the mi band 6 was exchanged without any questions asked as the previous product had a defective battery. The new piece i recieved doesn't have any battery issues and i see the battery lasting a good 15 days now.Bought this band about a month back. The battery life of the product I received is pathetic.I had read online about battery calibration needed as it's a software issue and not really a bettery issue. Had seen quite a few videos about how to recalibrate the battery. Tried all those steps multiple times but to no avail. No amount of 0-100 charge cycles solved the issue for me.The battery lasts only 5-6 hrs !! And this is with all notifications turned off and heart rate monitoring set to least rate of 30 mins.Very disappointed with the product that despite all these efforts, the battery is a bummer.
