Its having a blue screen...that causes the correct colour reduction...not satisfied
This is my second P11. The first one I bought from elsewhere had severe issues out of the box and it took a lot of wrangling to be able to return it. It was slow to recognise touch, all apps ran slowly and the audio recording was horribly broken. Multiple apps would refuse to load or run, and the wallpaper would disappear and the whole thing would have to be restarted. This second unit still has some issues, but Lenovo got the firmware to a point where it is more usable. It does have more bloatware now too, but most can be removed. Some Google apps are hardcoded into the firmware and you're stuck with it. You also get MS Office (which is useful) and a small selection of adware and demos (which aren't useful). The screen is not too great. The white balance is badly off and needs to be fixed, the Warm preset makes everything yellow and the cool preset makes everything very blue. Neither is actually usable, you have to tweak it manually and there is still a bit of a cast.Sound is decent. The speakers do a good job and go loud. There is no bass or haptic assistance to improve the low end, so the best effects will always be by external audio. Speaking of which, there's no 3.5mm so USB is the only proper way, as BT will always have a delay that desyncs audio from video. The oddest part of the tablet is portrait mode. Quite apart from the very narrow aspect ratio that makes it actually more difficult to get a grip of, there is a lot of jelly scroll. It's so bad that it hurts the eye as the left tries to catch up with the right. You're better off scrolling a page at a time. The SD card access is very slow, only 10 MB/s writes which is a third of the max speed the card is capable of. It does accept up to 1TB though, if the SDC is formatted in exFAT.The SD662 is a workmanlike SOC, and the tablet has no issues with most video playback, websites and documents. Almost all apps work well, though some (including Amazon's own app) cannot be installed until the updates are completed, and the upgrade to Android 11 is completed. This process takes about and hour and a half, and requires two restarts. Unlike the Mediatek processors, Snapdragon tends to be usable for a bit longer and has a better support ecosystem. There is no voice calling (which some cheaper MT tablet have), and that was not the intent of this device for me - but if you want that, look elsewhere.
I don't why this problem is occurring seeing the processor being a decent one still it is not even able to open google earth. I haven't tried with some high end games or video editing or painting appsThen it is just use of watching movie at some bigger screen. Was expecting much more out of this product.
